What is a Verruca?
Verruca's come in all shapes and sizes and are most common on the hands and feet. However they can effect any part of the body.
They develop on the soles of feet and tend to be flat rather than raised.

Warts and Verrucas are caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV). They can spread via human contact but also from objects such as towels that are shared, swimming pools and public showers. Although not everybody who comes into contact with wart viruses becomes infected.
